Sadie is a beautiful, shy hound with soulful eyes and a personality that is just waiting to shine through. Although reserved around people, she is starting to accept affection from our volunteers and we just know she has a lot of love to give!
Shelter life has proven to be stressful for Sadie and she will do best in a quiet environment that offers consistency and predictability. She is looking for a patient, understanding home that will let her continue to adapt at her own pace.
Sadie and her bestie, Cedar, have earned the rare opportunity to share a room for companionship. She is much happier when she’s with other dogs and truly takes comfort in canine companionship – she doesn’t even mind when Cedar steals a few bites of her food if given the opportunity!
A home with a confident dog friend would be the best fit for Sadie —someone to show her the ropes and help her continue building confidence. With time, consistency, and a calm canine buddy, Sadie will be able to thrive and become a wonderful companion for her lucky human(s)!
