Dogs never really stop being part of the Lighthouse family. Ollie was adopted from Lighthouse Animal Shelter about two years ago, and we’re now helping his family find him a new home through this courtesy post.
Ollie needs to be rehomed through no fault of his own. His family loves him and wants to make sure he finds the right home where he can continue to be happy, loved, and part of a family.
Ollie is a 5-year-old mixed breed weighing about 60 pounds. He is a loving, affectionate, people-oriented guy who absolutely loves chin scratches and belly rubs. He knows some basic commands and would love a family who can keep him active and involved.
Ollie would do best as the only dog, or potentially with a patient dog of similar size who enjoys a rough-and-tumble play style. He would also do best with older children and an active family who can give him plenty of exercise, attention, and love.
This is a direct adoption from Ollie’s family—he is not currently at the shelter. Lighthouse Animal Shelter is helping with pre-screening and providing additional information to interested adopters.
If you think Ollie could be the right fit for your family, please contact Lighthouse Animal Shelter to learn more and begin the pre-screening process.
Ollie has already been part of the Lighthouse family once. We’d love to help him find his next forever home.
