Carowinds is as sweet as he is handsome. For a dog of his size, he is also gentle, well-mannered, and always up for any excitement the day will bring!
Carowinds has been accident-free in his kennel at the shelter. On walks, he is gentle on the leash, taking his time to sniff and explore his surroundings. He has been great with introductions to both people and other dogs, making friends easily. He engages in respectful play, lives for a game of chase, but also enjoys the occasional romp too. This guy is a big fan of the pool – inspired by his namesake (a waterpark in NC) and maybe even a beach dog in the making?!
Carowinds may not be the most outwardly affectionate fellow, but he does need to have his people around to feel comfortable. He has shown signs of separation anxiety when left alone in a home. For this reason, he will do best in a home where he has a dog pal to keep him company, and ideally his human(s) will have plenty of time to love on him from day to day.
