Boone is a 5-year-old, 48-pound Foxhound mix who is looking for someone who will give him the time and encouragement he needs to come out of his shell.
Boone can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he’s already warming up to the volunteers and showing us more of his personality every day. We love seeing his confidence grow!
He’s dog friendly, and we think having a confident dog in his new home could help Boone feel even more comfortable as he settles in. He’s also good on leash and good in the car—two great qualities that will come in handy once he’s feeling comfortable with his new family.
Boone is still working on his house manners and has had a few accidents here, so his new family will need to help him establish a routine and give him some patience while he figures things out.
Boone may need a little extra encouragement in the beginning, but he’s already showing us that he’s making progress and ready to blossom. If you’re looking for a sweet hound who just needs someone to believe in him, Boone might be your guy!
